So a short while ago we were having an important conversation with the kids.
It was about the super powers that we as parents have.
You know, like the really cool things such as eyes in the back of our heads.
Yes, our kids (minus Esther I believe) really think that we have eyes in the back of our heads.
I've heard numerous conversations between Caleb and Anna in the back of the van that go something like this:
"I can't wait till I get older and I'm a Dad" says Caleb.
"Yeah, me too, I can't wait to be a Mom either." responds Anna.
"Then we can finally see what's going on behind us! Mom and Dad are so lucky!" they both agree with each other.
Anna seems to think about our extra set of eyes quite often, as lately she's even been "testing" us and asking us on the spur of the moment,
"Hey Mom, what's behind you right now? And don't forget to use your special eyes!" or "Dad, who's walking behind you?" (thankfully we've been able to answer her questions without looking behind us - using other "clues" to give her the right answer).
What kind of super-powers have you convinced your kids you have?
