Look Who's 5!!

Happy 5th Birthday Caleb!!
It's hard to believe that you've been with us for 5 years already!
Your affectionate, loving personality has been a wonderful blessing to our family.
God has blessed us so richly with you - and it is our prayer that He continues to grow you up healthy and strong, and above all, as a child of His!

Settling In

It's amazing how much life changes when a new addition is added to the mix. No exception here, that's for sure! We've had a week and a couple days now having Sara at home with us - Alvar was home last week (thankfully!!), and took care of the older siblings - taking them here and there and giving them lots of attention. I stayed back and tried to get used to taking care of a newborn once again (as used to sleepless nights, endless feedings and changing diapers goes again anyway!!).

So, due to the busyness of life here now - I just have a couple pictures to post of our little cutie pie here. I'm sure I'll be adding more as the weeks go on - just because she's just so cute!!

Sara was baptized this past Sunday - another covenant child in our family was given the sign and seal of being one of God's children - what a blessing!

Biking

Just a couple pictures of our "cool kids" (they wore their sunglasses) bike riding in the park a couple evenings ago - it was a beautiful evening as it had cooled down nicely after a hot and sticky day!

Hmm...some safety concerns with Daddy's driving maybe?

And what's a beautiful evening without a beautiful sunset!

Still here....

Another doctor's visit today, and things are "same-o same-o". Pipsqueak is still enjoying the "inside" - moving around LOTS (and I mean lots!), if it was me I'd want a little more room to move around in (i.e.outside the womb!!), but yah, each to their own, right!?

And so we wait. With lots and lots of patience - maybe some extra housework here and there, some running up and down stairs, maybe a marathon?? to get things started ;)

P.S. Any other suggestions to get labour started are very welcome at this point!

Photo Shoot

A good friend of mine suggested a pregnancy photo-shoot before Pipsqueak joins the outside world - something I have not done before (but have enjoyed looking at other people's pregnancy photographs!). So, I went down her house yesterday and she took many (and I mean many!) pictures of me in her backyard. As awkward as it was at first (I'm usually the one taking the pictures!!), it was a lot of fun over all - and it's kind of neat now to have these pictures of this pregnancy! I've picked a few of them (I really like the "wall" shots) to show you all - these will be the most pictures you will see of me on this blog all in one post!!
