BUB

Anna has really been coming along with her speaking lately. And of course are are taking the opportunity to see what words she knows and get her to try some new words or improve the ones she already says. It's been really fun and of course we're all excited to hear her use our names. One of the first names she had down cold is Esther's. She must have heard it so often and with sharing a room she would call out to Esther at night so she has never had a problem with it. Her own name has been easy for her as well, in fact most of her dolls are called Anna s well so we don't need any practice on that one. Mommy and Daddy is heard daily but Caleb, well Caleb is a little more work. We did the rounds the other day and realized she is actually calling him Bub. If you try to get her to say it properly you only end up with K-Bub. It's actually quite funny that she calls him Bub since Caleb himself had trouble with his name and for a while called himself Cala. I guess if you put them together in a room you might get Calabub.

Things are quiet here since Esther and Caleb are at Oma and Opa's (my parents) for 3 days and 3 nights. We brought them down on Monday and will pick them up tomorrow again. We hear they are having a good time and are probably spoiled rotten by now.
