Butterflies

We used a wagjag deal today and took the kids to the Cambridge Butterfly Museum. Alvar's parents joined us there with and we had a good time.  The kids enjoyed the freedom walking around on their own (it's not too big of a place) and of course loved having the butterflies land on them (hi-light of the day for them for sure!).
As soon as we walked thru the doors Anna stopped in the middle of the lane.  She was already hoping for a butterfly to land on her as soon as we walked in!
Love their tongues
Lots of assortments and lots of colours
Lots of pictures taken during our stay!
Anna scored the best landing of the day,on her face!
She is shocked, excited and uncertain all in one second
And very happy over all that she was used as a landing pad
The butterfly continued down her face...
And eventually landed on her arm
 Pure joy!
 Sara checking out the cocoons
 Some crazy shaped ones there!
 And very beautiful too
Pretty sure this is a monarch
I like this shot with Caleb in the background
It's like some of the butterflies just wait for you to take their picture
Anna also had this creature on her hand - a walking stick
I thought this last one here might go home with Alvar's Mom as it hung out on her sweater for quite some time!
All in all we had a good morning out and enjoyed the tropical weather inside while it snowed outside!
