So wwwwaaaayyy back in November Esther got a special present (see here). She's been waiting since then to use her horseback riding voucher - today was FINALLY that day! We managed to pick the windiest day to take the lessons (the barn was freezing!!) - but that didn't deter her and the 6 other riders from enjoying their time! We also managed to book the same lessons as friends of ours - so Esther, Marietta and Rebecca could enjoy this first experience together.

Georgia wasn't the most cooperative horse - at one point Esther was pinned against the boards as Georgia licked out a bucket of food (obviously food was a priority, not riding!).
Very blurry...I couldn't get a good setting in the barn so a lot of pictures unfortunately turned out this way! But, here is Marietta, Rebecca and Esther in a row with their horses.
Esther grinning from ear to ear - she had a great time and is looking forward to the next 2 lessons!
