Recently we discovered a pocket of "something" on Anna's gum (thankfully there was no pain or sensitivity). We promptly took her to the dentist to get a it checked out and found out that her tooth was beyond saving - it was totally infected :(
So, an appointment was made to extract the tooth and have a spacer put it to keep the gap (it was a molar, so the new one won't be showing until Anna is 12 or 13 years old).
The above picture is the end result...the tooth didn't seem to look too bad - but, we trust the dentist knows what they are doing! A lot of dental work for a little girl - it was tough, but Anna made it through to the end (extra treasure chest toys for Anna after this appointment!!)
