On Friday night we decided to treat the kids to a little Midway that was around the corner from our house. Yes, yes, we know, prices are ridiculous there - the rides aren't all that great - but, we figured the kids would enjoy a little outing as it's been a bit busy around here. And they did - they got to choose 3 rides each - and had fun on them all :)

Train Roller Coaster Ride - Not sure if Anna really enjoyed it as much as Esther and Caleb did - Anna said it made her sick to her stomach (I'm thinking it was the "butterfly" feeling)!

We also ended the little evening with some cotton candy. As I look back on the evening, I think we could have gotten away with taking them all out for some cotton candy as this seemed to be the hi-lite of the night! Caleb was still talking about it today with Alvar - he is most definitely his father's son with his new found love of cotton candy (also a big favourite of Alvar's) - looks like we might just have to buy it a few more times this summer - an easy way to please the family!
