This summer Esther played baseball again, but at a new park. What a difference! It was way more organized and there were more teams to play against too (last year they played against the same team every game, this year they had 3 other teams to play against!). Their coaches were great, encouraging and taught them a lot about the game. Esther's team was in 3rd place, and tonight was playing the 2nd place team to see who would move on to the finals. After a fantastically intense game, they managed to win in the last inning! So they moved on to play for 1st place!
One very smiley girl here - the game was full of excitement - including Esther hitting twice and getting on base (bringing in some runs)!
Maybe the win was due to the fan base that Esther brought with - the girls made a banner and everything to cheer on Esther's team (and cheer they did!!!).
The final game was played the following week, although I don't have pictures of that game, they managed to win 1st place!!
