So, on my way out with the kids this morning I realized I forgot something at home and had to turn around. Rather then go back into the house thru the garage, I obviously parked in the driveway and went thru the front door instead.
Note to self: Make sure the chain link is not on the door before we leave for anywhere.
Or else this might happen.
Oh..and another note to self: Do not mount the hardware on the trim around the door. A mouse could have pushed open the door just as easily as I did.
So much for the extra security in this house!

This made me laugh... we have a few of those broken chain-latches around here too :) They were all broken from the inside, though. Not the most secure latches, that's for sure!
