Kingston - Day 7

Our last full day of camping was proved to be the wettest!  We woke up to a very gloomy morning - it was like the clouds were hanging ten feet above us, waiting to dump on us!  And dump it did!  We found after we got home from camping that there was some serious flooding in Kingston that day.  We hung around camp for the first half of the day.  We attempted a hike yet, but had to cut it short due to the rain.  When we got back to camp, the kids were wet anyway, so they had a water fight with some water guns.  After that they stuffed themselves on Oma and Opa's couch and watched a movie together while  Bianca kicked my butt in two games of Carcasonne.  Finally, after no let up of rain seemed to be anywhere near we headed into town.  We found an indoor play place for the kids where they could run around and release their energy!
 Very grey day!

Alvar in the kiddie zone with Sara
Sara having a blast in the kiddie zone!
Mom and Dad (and the rest of us) taking advantage of the free WiFi!
 Alexis enjoying the slides
Caleb seems pretty happy jumping around!
Jared and Caleb with the giant balls
 The climbing wall
 Getting there Anna!
This was as far as Sara got on the wall...she thought she was doing it right though!
When we got back to camp the weather cleared up - Esther finally got her chance to try out kayaking
Caleb and Alvar out on the canoe (following Esther on the kayak).  At least the day ended nicely with the weather clearing up and our tents and campers got a chance to dry up a bit before leaving the next day!  We had a great time camping again this year with the family - it's amazing how different camping trips can be from year to year.  Thanks again Mom and Dad for another great trip!
